Me, John, and my friend Tom absolutely loved playing Renegade Game Studios’ Axis & Allies – Guadalcanal! The head-to-head gameplay between the United States and Japan was intense and kept us on the edge of our seats. We couldn’t get enough of the classic Axis & Allies gameplay set in the Solomon Islands in 1942. It was like we were transported back in time to experience this pivotal moment in history.

One of our favorite features was the updated mini sculpts for the game pieces. They were incredibly detailed and really added to the overall experience. And let’s not forget about the Battle Box! Rolling dice has never been more fun with this convenient tool. It definitely enhanced our gameplay and made determining battle outcomes much smoother.

I have to give a special shoutout to Renegade Game Studios for including control markers for both sides on the Airstrip tokens. This made it easy to keep track of who had control of each airstrip during gameplay. And with nine damaged tokens included, we could accurately show when airstrips had sustained damage. Overall, this game is a must-have for any strategy board game enthusiast and Tom, Jane, and I can’t wait to play again!
